Before you submit a request for a deadline extension using this form Submit a request – University of Cambridge (zendesk.com), please take note of the following:
- Please read this article before requesting a deadline extension: I am unable to meet my offer conditions by the deadline. What should I do? – University of Cambridge (zendesk.com).
- You are only eligible to be considered for an extension if you have met all the conditions except one; the one condition outstanding will be the one you are requesting an extension for.
- In your extension request you must tell us the date you will be able to meet the condition.
- In exceptional cases we may consider an extension request if you have more than one condition outstanding (eg if you have an ATAS/college/language condition outstanding in addition to an academic condition). You should explain in your request which conditions are outstanding, why, and when you can meet them.
- To be granted an extension for a language condition you must provide evidence that you have a test booked.
- We will not accept requests for extending the deadline to meet the funding condition unless you are expecting the outcome for a specific award, and you know when that will be announced.
- Please select ‘Deadline extension request’ in the dropdown menu of the form.
Our office will tell you by e-mail either that your deadline has been extended, or that your deadline cannot be extended and why.
If you have submitted documents to meet your offer conditions in the last 15 working days, it may be that we have not yet processed them. Please only email us for an update if you have seen no changes two weeks since uploading your documents.
If you are a current student at University of Cambridge, you will only need to request an extension if you will have a non-academic condition outstanding by 31 July. Those with just their academic condition remaining will have their deadline extended automatically.
