Can I submit my application before my references have been submitted?

Yes, you can submit your application before your referee's have submitted their references. 

However, your application will not be considered complete, and it will not be considered by the department or funding bodies, until both your references have been submitted.

References must be submitted before the relevant funding or course deadline. Please note that if a reference is not received in time your application will not be considered by the department or relevant funding bodies.

If your referee is unable to meet the deadline then we would recommend that you nominate a new referee.

You can check the status of your references by logging into the Applicant Portal. You can also nominate a new referee or send your referee a reminder.

It is important that you make sure the details for your referee's are correct as once the reference is submitted you will not be able to make any amendments to your referee’s details or nominate a new referee.
