Do I still need to apply for funding when I'm already applying for a fully funded studentship?

The University of Cambridge offers fully funded research-specific studentships for postgraduate students, covering tuition and living expenses (maintenance). This article applies to all studentships that are advertised on the University’s official job site throughout the year.

If awarded, a studentship guarantees full financial support with an offer of admission, allowing students to focus solely on their studies.

Although fully funded, applicants are welcome to apply for funding via the funding section in your application, but this is not required. Ultimately, if you are awarded your studentship offer all your financial liability should be covered.
