You are advised to log into the Applicant Portal regularly to check the status of your application.
Information on how to access the Applicant Portal can be found here: https://www.postgraduate.study.cam.ac.uk/applicant-portal
You may wish to note that your application must be considered by the Department, the Degree Committee and the Postgraduate Admissions Office before a final decision can be made. For clarification on how your application is considered by the department we recommend visiting the 'Selection Process' section of the course webpage's 'How to Apply' tab. Some departments may not begin considering your application until weeks or months after the application has been submitted.
If your course considers applications on a rolling basis, please note it can take up to 12 weeks from the course application deadline or funding deadline before a final decision is made, especially if applications are submitted in December and January.
If applications are considered as gathered fields, please refer to the 'Selection Process' section of the course webpage's 'How to Apply' tab for more information on when you are expected to receive a decision. Please note that this may not comply with the 12-week timeline.
It is not possible to give a specific update on whether your application has been recommended by the Degree Committee and when any offer recommendation was sent to us for approval. Please rest assured that our office will process any offer that you may have been recommended for as soon as we can.
