Eligible Master’s and PhD applicants are able to receive one-to-one online support with their application through the University’s AIM: PhD and AIM: Master’s programmes.
These programmes work by matching up applicants with a current Cambridge postgraduate student who can provide expert insights into the application process.
Through AIM, applicants can receive support in areas such as preparing application documents, developing a research proposal and identifying relevant funding opportunities. Students will also be happy to answer questions about life in Cambridge as a postgraduate.
To be eligible for these programmes applicants must meet both of the following criteria:
- Be a resident of the UK or Republic of Ireland, intending to apply as a Home student
- Not have completed any previous education at the University of Cambridge
Due to the limited spaced available on our programmes, we may prioritise applicants who come from backgrounds that are currently underrepresented at Cambridge.
Please note that not all postgraduate courses are covered by the AIM programmes. For full details please visit our website.
If you have any questions about the AIM programmes, please email us at aim@postgraduate.study.cam.ac.uk
