You must not submit the Financial Undertaking Form until you have received clarification on how your study will be funded.
The form you submit must indicate how you will be able to fund your study and so many offer-holders will wait until closer to the offer conditions deadline, July 31, before submitting this, unless they receive a decision before.
If you are able to finance your studies yourself, without a funding award, you may upload your completed Financial Undertaking Form straight away stating that you are self-financing (option A ticked on the form). This will not affect your chances of receiving funding.
Our general policy is that if you are in any doubt about whether you have sufficient funds for your fees and living costs you should NOT sign the Financial Undertaking Form.
You can upload any funding award letter to your Self-Service Portal at a later date together with a revised Financial Undertaking Form and we will amend your application accordingly.
