Is there an application fee?

Applications are subjected to an application charge (if applicable), you will need to pay a £50 application fee before you can submit your application.

You may wish to note that there is no application fee for doctoral programmes. These include:

• Doctor of Philosophy (PhD)
• Doctor of Business (BusD)
• Doctor of Education (EdD)
• Doctor of Medicine (MD)
• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (VetD)
• Combined Master of Research (MRes) and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) programmes

There is an application fee for all other postgraduate courses at Cambridge. Please see the Application Fee page for more information.

Depending on your personal circumstances and the course(s) you are applying for, you may be eligible for an application fee waiver. Please make sure to read this section carefully if you believe you are eligible and submit your application fee waiver application before the relevant deadline.
