You do not have to select a preferred College when making your application, and you will not be disadvantaged in getting a place at Cambridge if you do not list a preference. You can provide up to two preferences for colleges to consider your application.
For more details, see Colleges and postgraduate applications
If you are made an offer to study, the University will organise an offer of College membership on your behalf. When this is ready, it will show on your Self Service account and the College will contact you.
If you have a disability, serious medical needs, or specific family needs, then you should contact the Postgraduate Tutor of the College that has accepted you to discuss options or adjustments. We recommend that you research the individual Colleges before applying, and discuss with them directly your specific needs or requests before indicating a specific College preference.
